窪蹋勛圖厙 President Ana Mari Cauce has announced that Jason Campbell will serve as interim senior vice president for Finance, Planning and Budgeting and chief financial officer, effective Aug. 2. Currently the vice president for Finance and Budget Strategy and deputy senior finance officer, Campbell will step in to the interim position following the departure of Sarah Norris Hall.泭

We appreciate Jason stepping into this interim role. Im confident he will provide excellent support to both incoming President Jones and the Finance, Planning and Budgeting leadership team to ensure the 窪蹋勛圖厙s financial stability during this leadership transition, Cauce said.

Campbell is the 窪蹋勛圖厙s vice president for Finance & Budget Strategy and deputy chief financial officer.泭 He泭joined the 窪蹋勛圖厙 in 2017 and served as a senior director for the Financial Analysis and Budget Strategy division. In 2022, he was promoted to associate vice provost of Planning and Budgeting. He received his bachelors degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a masters degree in accounting from California State University, Sacramento.

Norris Hall has been with the University since 2009, and in 2024, led the Finance, Planning and Budgeting team through an organizational and leadership restructuring. The newly configured Office of Finance, Planning and Budgeting combined 窪蹋勛圖厙 Finance with the 窪蹋勛圖厙 Office of Planning and Budgeting.

Norris Hall has been named the next chief financial officer with the Allen Institute.浹er last day at the 窪蹋勛圖厙 will be Aug. 1.
