Christopher M. Jordan, a first-year law student at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, has been selected by Gov. Chris Gregoire as the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø student regent for the coming academic year.

Jordan earned a master’s degree in public administration from the ºÚÁϳԹÏ꿉۪s Evans School of Public Affairs in 2012. He also received a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2010.

Jordan has worked as an outreach coordinator for the Economic Opportunity Institute and as a legislative intern in the office of Sen. Patty Murray. As an undergraduate, he was public relations coordinator for the Associated Students of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and served as a resident adviser for housing and food services, as well as being an opinion columnist for The Daily, the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø student newspaper.

Jordan, who is originally from Spokane, also was an intern in the office of Spokane Mayor Mary Verner.
