On Friday, September 9, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø President Michael Young cut the ribbon, marking the official opening of the Washington Commons, the new public space for ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø alumni located across the plaza from the main entrance of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Tower.
Local luminaries attended the event, intended as a place for alumni to visit and enjoy the free coffee available to ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Alumni Association members.
Alumni are invited to stop by between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to check out the space, use the WiFi (available to alumni with ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø NetIDs and passwords), and take in the art and décor that make the area a celebration of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and its current and former attendees.
