ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøTV and ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Athletics will televise eight of the defending NCAA champion Husky softball team’s games this season, all against competition from the nation’s top softball league — the Pacific-10 Conference.
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøTV will televise the Friday and Saturday games from the UCLA (April 2 & 3), Arizona (April 10 & 11), Oregon State (May 1 & 2) and Stanford (May 8 & 9) series live from Husky Softball Stadium. Former ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø All-America softball players Angie Mentink and Dena Tyson will serve as commentators for the broadcasts, which will be available as live broadcasts throughout the state of Washington on ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøTV as well as on the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s official athletic website — .
The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø softball team is currently the unanimous number one ranked team in the national USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 Poll. Including Washington, four of the five teams featured in the upcoming live games on ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøTV are ranked in the top 10. Arizona is ranked second, UCLA is fifth and Stanford sits in 10th. Five of the top 10 teams and six of the top 13 are from the Pac-10 Conference.
