Dr. Paul Ramsey, vice president for medical affairs and dean of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø School of Medicine, has appointed an advisory committee to identify candidates to serve as the next executive director of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Medical Center (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøMC).
Kathleen Sellick, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøMC’s executive director until the end of May, resigned her position to become the president and chief executive officer of Children’s Hospital and Health Center in San Diego.
John Coulter, associate vice president for administration, will chair the committee.
Other members are Dr. Norm Beauchamp, chair of radiology; Dr. Sid Nelson, dean of pharmacy; Susan Grant, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøMC’s associate administrator for patient care; Charlotte Guyman, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Medicine Board member; Dr. Richard Page, division head of cardiology; Dr. Carlos Pellegrini, chair of surgery; Dr. Larry Robinson, vice dean for clinical affairs; Ruth Mahan, vice dean for administration and finance; Dr. Ed Walker, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøMC’s medical director; and Shan Mullin, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Medicine Board member.
A nationwide search will be conducted and it is anticipated that a short list of candidates will most likely be identified by this fall.
Lisa Brandenburg, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøMC’s chief operating officer, is the interim executive director for ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøMC.
