Sean Kassim, a senior fellow in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care, hands out tasting strips to find out which people are able to detect certain harmless substances — the ability to detect some tastes is genetically determined — at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Medicine booth for the South Lake Union Block Party, held Friday and Saturday, Sept. 16 and 17.
