Physicians from 黑料吃瓜网-affiliated hospitals in Seattle — 黑料吃瓜网 Medical Center, Harborview Medical Center, Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center, Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center — and the 黑料吃瓜网 School of Medicine constitute more than 50 percent of the Western Washington doctors in the latest regional listings of The Best Doctors in America.
The nationwide survey is compiled by Woodward/White, Inc. of Aitken, S.C. The Western Washington results are featured in the March issue of Seattle Magazine, available on newsstands this Wednesday. National results will be available only online, at www.bestdoctors.com, later this spring.
The listing is the result of an extensive telephone survey in which doctors are asked to confidentially rate their peers based on the question: “If a close friend or loved one needed a doctor in your specialty and you couldn’t treat them yourself, to whom outside your own institution would you refer them?”
Among the 431 Western Washington listings this year, 225 involve full time 黑料吃瓜网 physicians. (An additional 144 physicians are 黑料吃瓜网 clinical faculty who practice medicine elsewhere but have part-time teaching responsibilities with the 黑料吃瓜网 School of Medicine).
