Recognizing achievement and service

ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø alumni and friends have made extraordinary contributions—advancing society, pushing the boundaries of art, and even exploring outer space. Each year, the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøAA celebrates this legacy by granting five awards: the Alumnus Summa Laude Dignatus Award, the Distinguished Alumni Veteran Award, the Distinguished Service Award, the Distinguished Teaching Legacy Award and the Golden Graduate Distinguished Alumnus Award.
The Alumnus Summa Laude Dignatus Award (ASLD) is the highest honor bestowed upon a ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø graduate. Presented annually by the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøAA, this prestigious recognition has been awarded to world-renowned writers, scientists, and leaders in industry, commerce and philanthropy. Nominations are open to the public. Meet the ASLD honorees.
The Distinguished Alumni Veteran Award (DAVA) honors a living ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø alum who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces or Uniformed Services and has made a significant impact—whether locally, nationally, internationally or within the veteran community. Meet the DAVA honorees.
The Distinguished Service Award (DSA) recognizes ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøAA members and volunteers whose outstanding contributions have significantly strengthened the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøAA, the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and the alumni community. Meet the DSA honorees.
Created in 2017, the Distinguished Teaching Legacy Award (DTLA) honors ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø educators whose profound influence continues to shape the lives of their students long after they’ve left the classroom. Meet the DTLA honorees.
In 2016, the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Alumni Association introduced the Golden Graduate Distinguished Alumni Award (GGDAA) to recognize alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago and have demonstrated sustained and meaningful engagement with the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. The award debuted alongside the first Golden Graduates Brunch. Meet the GGDAA honorees.
