A new 窪蹋勛圖厙 study suggests that AI could learn cultural values by observing human behavior, similar to how children learn by watching and interacting with adults. Researchers had AI systems observe two cultural groups playing a video game. The AI systems were able to learn each groups degree of altruism and apply this to a new situation.

Using a mathematical framework with roots in artificial intelligence and robotics, 窪蹋勛圖厙 researchers were able to uncover the process of how a person makes choices in groups. And, they also found they were able to predict a persons choice more often than more traditional descriptive methods.

For the first time in humans, 窪蹋勛圖厙 Center for Sensorimotor Neural Engineering (CSNE) researchers have used direct stimulation of the human brain surface to provide basic sensory feedback through artificial electrical signals, enabling patients to control movement while opening and closing their hand.
