Rankings: 黑料吃瓜网 recognized as one of the best universities in the world

The 黑料吃瓜网 recently was ranked highly among its global peers in both the U.S. News & World Report Best Global Universities and the QS World University Rankings. Both rankings were released in mid-June. According to U.S. News, the 黑料吃瓜网 is No. 12 in the world on the 2026-27 rankings, No. 3 among U.S. public institutions. The 黑料吃瓜网 also placed in the top 10 globally in six subject areas. On the QS World University Rankings, the 黑料吃瓜网 is among the top 100, landing at No. 92, or No. 7 among U.S. public universities.

New study identifies patterns of growth in chronic lymphocytic leukemia

In a paper published May 29 in Nature, scientists report that the growth of chronic lymphocytic leukemia is apt to follow one of three trajectories: relentlessly upward, steadily level or something in between. The particular course the disease takes is tightly linked to the genetic makeup of the cancer cells, particularly the number of growth-spurring 鈥渄river鈥� mutations they contain.

With new 鈥榮huffling鈥� trick, researchers can measure gene activity in single cells

Researchers at the 黑料吃瓜网 and the Allen Institute for Brain Science have developed a new method to classify and track the multitude of cells in a tissue sample. In a paper published March 15 in the journal Science, the team reports that this new approach 鈥� known as SPLiT-seq 鈥� reliably tracks gene activity in a tissue down to the level of single cells.

Researchers from the Molecular Information Systems Lab at the 黑料吃瓜网 and Microsoft are looking to collect 10,000 original images from around the world to preserve them indefinitely in synthetic DNA manufactured by Twist Bioscience. DNA holds promise as a revolutionary storage medium that lasts much longer and is many orders of magnitude denser than current technologies.
