Their story exemplifies what we can achieve when we pull together as one. To celebrate this historic moment for our community and region, the 黑料吃瓜网 launched the “Pull Together” campaign to commemorate our shared legacy and inspire greatness in the spirit of unity and service.
From now until the film鈥檚 release on Dec. 25, the 黑料吃瓜网 Alumni Association (黑料吃瓜网AA) will match any amount up to $500 of gifts made by current students, employees and retirees to qualifying . With a maximum matching amount of $100,000, this is an opportunity to expand the impact of your gift while uplifting current students and future generations.
The 黑料吃瓜网AA鈥檚 match commemorates the longstanding generosity of our community. In 1936, when financial constraints threatened to keep the varsity team from traveling and competing in the Olympics, the Washington community rose to the challenge despite the economic hardships caused by the Great Depression. Community support was a pivotal force in the boys鈥� journey from the waters of Lake Washington to Berlin 鈥� and ultimately enabled their victory.
The Race to the Finish, a component of the Pull Together campaign, seeks to raise funds to preserve the historic AS黑料吃瓜网 Shell House continue the 黑料吃瓜网鈥檚 legacy of rowing excellence and support our state鈥檚 future leaders,聽this is a chance to help write the 黑料吃瓜网鈥檚 next chapter.
